This is the cover photograph for the latest edition of Lichen, Canada, on the theme of ‘haunts’ and I’m proud to have one of the short stories from my Chinese residency – Peephole – published in it.
I’m very pleased too, to be keeping company with that fine writer and good companion, Brian Reynolds, who has been a constant friend, reviewer and supporter since I first joined Zoetrope Virtual Studios, and with Luciana Lopez, a new acquaintance, also from Zoetrope, and very elegant stylist of words.
Brian’s story, First Goose, is an elegaic tale of loss and maturity and Luciana’s Today She is Scared is a story of secrets and fear, with a possible redemption at the end. Both are well worth reading
