Happy New Year!

A great way to start is to have the invaluable (for writers) service of Google Alert tell you that something has been published, in this case, my latest Moondance column …

And I have a 2007 resolution to share with you – I’m reducing posting on this blog to twice a week, Tuesdays and Thursdays in fact (apart from today).

Why?

Because to my utter shock I’ve written more than 59,000 words on this blog … that’s most of a novel and, as a working writer, I’ve searched my shrivelled little heart and realised that if I’d devoted half of those words to my paying work, I could have afforded a weekend in the South of France. Although I’d probably love you dearly if I met you, dear reader, I’ll never love you more than I love the South of France ….

It’s amazing, how the daily words on a blog add up! I’ll miss reading your neuroses more frequently, but will learn to make due with two per week.

Be well, and much success to you in 2007, Kay!
